- I moved to Memphis in November of 2007 and that is part of what has driven me to write this blog; just as I have obstacles standing in the way of my true happiness, I know that others do too! I miss my friends and family more than anything and can't wait to get back to Alabama, but rest assured I genuinely appreciate and cherish everything that my family in Memphis has done for me. I know that I'll never be able to repay them for their kindness and generosity.
